1. Describing an organization, typically a charity, which endorses a particular religion and should therefore be endorsed by the federal government. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
1. The federal agency, now under President Bush's Department of Homeland Security, charged with the mission of "disaster mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery planning." Such activities, however, take place only after a disaster observation phase, which may last several days before FEMA begins to respond. During such time, the priority of FEMA rescue personnel, as stated by former FEMA director Michael Brown during Hurricane Katrina, is to "convey a positive image of disaster operations" to ensure that negative effects from such disasters do not unnecessarily tarnish the image of President Bush's strong and steadfast leadership in protecting Americans.
filibuster
1. A legislative tactic used by the minority party in the Senate of forcing endless debate in order to prevent legislation favored by the majority. Filibusters have been used by Republicans when in the minority to prevent dangerous and radical appointments by a Democratic president from undermining our democracy, and have recently been used by minority Democrats to block judicial appointments by President Bush, effectively undermining our democracy.

1. The policy of ensuring that the national debt is caused by increased military spending and decreased tax revenue, and not caused by fiscally irresponsible expenditures such as unemployment benefits, healthcare, education, and scientific research.
flag burning
1. A dangerous form of political expression practiced by liberal protestors and terrorists to express their desire to destroy the United States and bring about anarchy. Flag burning must be prohibited in order to prevent American Liberals from signaling their allegiance to Al Qaeda.
